Cell Cease-Fire

After years of offering better and better deals on mobile phone calling plans, in a land-grab, it appears that the carriers have reached an informal “cease fire”. Of course, this might have something to do with the market being saturated, and people know it’s no longer about convincing consumers to start using a mobile phone – but to switch to their plan. Thus, mobile phone advertising isn’t as focused on price any more, but on coverage and features. The actual price is starting to creep up as well – mostly do to the popular practice of adding “fees” to the bill that look like their required by the government, but which are really only created by the company.
