Cellphones Ring Out With The Aid Of A Steeple

The NY Times has their take on the increasing practice of wireless carriers to place their cell towers in church steeples. The churches benefit by getting some extra money, while the carriers get their well placed tower. How much money the churches make apparently is “based upon the negotiating skills of the pastor or priest there, and how desirable that location is to the carrier.”
