Good Technology Looks Towards Professional Services

Good Technology is shifting strategies yet again. Realizing that both the hardware and software games they are in were looking increasingly like commodity businesses, they’re now pushing their new professional services “consulting” practice to try to boost revenue. They’re going to try to support enterprises who are trying to figure out how to get the most benefit in moving their email to a wireless solution. Of course, many people may be skeptical that the “consulting” side of the business is really just a way to scrape a little more money out of customers while selling them only on Good’s own products, so it may take some effort to convince some customers of the value of such consulting efforts.
