Mobile Phone As Your Only Phone?

It seems like you see one of these articles in the popular press every few months. So, I guess it’s time for yet another story about people who are using their mobile phone as their main phone line, and ditching their landlines. This article, though, includes some statistics (in the past, they’ve been largely anecdotal). It says that 18% of Americans consider their mobile phone to be their “main” phone number – and give that number out when asked for a phone number. 7 million Americans only use a mobile phone, with no corresponding home land line.
