The World's Smallest Film Festival
I’m still waiting to see a compelling use of wireless video. I don’t deny that one is out there, but I haven’t seen or heard of it yet. So, I think it’s a great idea that someone is setting up the World’s Smallest Film Festival to encourage people to showcase videos designed for mobile phones, as it may encourage people to think more carefully about what makes sense in terms of video on mobile phones. So far, all the ideas that people have talked about seem silly – just transferring regular videos to mobile phones, which isn’t compelling at all.
