Experts Not Worried About Cyberterrorism

Over at CeBIT, a panel of security experts has pointed out the obvious: the threat of cyberterrorism is being overblown by the media and the government. People losing access to email, while it may be costly, isn’t quite the same level as “terror”. The real threat, they point out is, with online criminals breaking into systems. This is another topic that seems to show up a lot lately. The idea of “cyberterrorism” makes for good headlines, but anyone looking at the details and the possibilities quickly realizes it’s a highly improbable scenario.
