Intel Says It Has Invested In Four Wireless Internet Companies

Intel announced that they’ve invested in four wireless companies as they continue to push WiFi. Intel is making a big push into wireless because clearly someone there believes it’s the next “big thing” in computing. As such, they’re hoping that as people adopt wireless solutions, it will require new machines or new chips – and clearly they help to sell those chips. The four companies are Broadreach Networks, Pronto Networks, rovingIP.net, and Vivato (who we’ve talked about a few times in the past).
