Online Bank Robbers Arrested

from the did-they-wear-masks? dept

Bank robberies are still common because, as the famous saying goes, that’s where the money is. However, it probably seems a lot safer to rob a bank online than to go in to the physical bank. Two men in Japan have been arrested for using some keylogging software in an internet cafe to access the bank accounts of people who had used that computer before. Of course, the problem with stealing money electronically is that it’s pretty easy to follow the digital trail. The men are accused of stealing $136,000.
