Will The WiFi vs. 3G Stories Ever End?
Just hours after we posted a story talking about yet another WiFi vs. 3G story (though, at least that one had a twist in focusing on the Asian market) Reuters has come out with their own WiFi vs. 3G argument, which simply rehashes every other article on this topic. It seems clear, at this point, that reporters just love the idea of a competition story – since very few people in the industry actually seem to think there’s any kind of battle shaping up.
