3G Fades From 3GSM Conference Radar
Oops. With all the hype and stories coming out of the 3GSM World Conference this week, almost all of it is coming at the expense of 3G. Most of the technologies being discussed aren’t about 3G. They’re completely different (WiFi) or focused on MMS or SmartPhones that will use 2.5G systems. Unlike previous years, the folks pushing 3G have (perhaps?) finally realized that they need to stay quiet until they have something to show.
