Microsoft Smartphones Step Into Canada

Slowly, but surely, Microsoft is finding carriers who will offer phones based on their Microsoft Smartphone OS. The latest is Rogers AT&T Wireless in Canada, tied for the largest wireless carrier spot in Canada. Some analysts say that Microsoft is showing up a bit late, and that PalmSource-based phones have already taken a large share of the market. Of course, it’s a bit early to call a winner in this race, and it’s pretty rare that a head start has let a company outrun Microsoft in the long run.
