The Computer Doctor Is In
from the he-should-at-least-charge-$0.25 dept
What’s an out of work techie in Silicon Valley to do with his spare time? Well, one of them has decided that in order to get some attention for his computer-fixing skills, he’ll open up a free computer help shop in a coffee house. After helping the coffee house owners get their own computer hooked up to a high speed internet line, they’re letting him “set up office” at the back bar, where he’s helping anyone with computer problems for free. The idea is that doing so will get him enough attention to get paying gigs. In the meantime, he gets to hang out in a nice coffee shop that has free internet access (thanks to his own handiwork).
