New Monitoring Law Concerns Librarians

You don’t often think of librarians as being radical protestors, but it seems they’re getting pretty fed up with the new US laws that let federal agents spy on library patrons. It’s apparently a big topic of conversation at this week’s American Library Association convention. They’re expected to draft a resolution condemning the library spying rules. Of course, that doesn’t mean anyone in the government will actually do anything.
