Microsoft Readies CDMA PPC Phones

As usual Microsoft is generating a lot of noise through the announcement of CDMA Pocket PC Phone Edition Devices. Samsung has officially announced the i700 and Hitachi is soon to announce the Hitachi Multimedia Communicator. Unlike their GSM counterparts both sport integrated cameras and the Hitachi has a keyboard. The problem with all the PPC Phone Edition devices is that they are two big and expensive. At least with the GSM versions you can take out the SIM and put it into a small phone when you don’t need the PDA features.
