What Should I Do With My Life?
from the good-question dept
Recently, I’ve noticed many more friends of mine who are getting increasingly agitated by the idea that they’re not doing the right thing with their lives. I’m not sure what triggers this sort of “what does it all mean” crisis, but it’s always difficult to figure out what to tell those people. Now, Po Bronson has set out to figure out what it takes to find your “calling”. Fast Company is running a fascinating excerpt from his new book called, What Should I Do With My Life?, where he goes around and talks to hundreds of people who have found what it takes in life to make them happy. Some of the obvious stuff seems to apply: money doesn’t necessarily make people happy, and happy people often aren’t rich. Also, most people took many different paths before they found the right place for them. Sounds like a great read.
