Orange SA To Exit Swedish Market
Orange SA announced today that they’re going to exit the Swedish market due to market conditions and problems with attempts to license UMTS spectrum from Sweden’s regulatory agency. This is yet another sign that carriers are looking to make tough decisions on operations they can cut completely, and they aren’t willing to put up with difficult regulatory procedures in places where the results are questionable anyway.
