NYC OKs Cell Phones at Performances Ban
Mobile phones going off at movies or other performances is annoying. New Yorkers find it so annoying that the city council has approved a bill that bans mobiles at public performances. The bill makes talking on the phone, listening to one and a ringing phone a violation with a $50 fine. However there is no mention of how the ban will be enforced and who will issue the violations.
