We’ve talked about various employee monitoring programs in the past, but they usually just consist of checking what websites employees are visiting, or perhaps storing their email and searching it for “keywords”. Now, however, there’s a growing trend to use much more invasive employee forensics software that are used to build profiles of employees who are potential troublemakers. If you just happen to access the right combination of files, while sending email with certain words in it, you may suddenly get put on the corporate watch list.
