Sony Ericsson Delays Camera Phone Again

Nothing seems to go right for Sony Ericsson. While there’s still talk going around that the joint venture is going to be dissolved, it can’t help matters that they’re pushing back, yet again, the date to launch their high-end P800 camera phone. The only places where it will launch before Christmas are Sweden, the United Arab Emirates and Greece. Other places won’t see the phone until January (at the earliest), meaning that they’ll miss out on the big buying season – which can’t be good for business. You would think, between the two parent companies involved, that they would know something about getting things to market on time. Meanwhile, holiday phone sales that would have gone to Sony Ericsson will now go to places like Nokia, Motorola, Samsung and Siemens.
