MMS Offers Potential Bypass Of Chinese Content Regulation

With all the talk recently about China’s “Great Firewall”, blocking access to content the government does not approve of, there hasn’t been much talk about how MMS offers a way to get around those content restrictions. Apparently, as it is currently set up, there is no way for the government to check MMS content, which could open up a hole in China’s plans to block access to certain information. Of course, there are always ways around blocks, but it will be interesting to see if this has any effect on MMS adoption rates in China and how the government responds over time.
