Judge Orders Madster To Disable Servers

Not quite sure why anyone still cares about this case, but the judge in the Madster case is saying that the company might be in contempt and is ordering Johnny Deep to shut down Madster’s servers in order to kill the service. This is just more ways that the recording industry is wasting their money. It’s clear that they’ve spent more money beating up on this service that no one uses than they ever “lost” through people using the service. However, the judge claims that keeping the service online would cause “irreparable harm” to the recording industry. I have to wonder about the judge’s definition of “irreparable harm”…
