Qualcomm Translates USB For Phones

Many of the latest handsets, even entry level ones, have robust phone books, calendars, and modem capabilities. To take advantage of these capabilities you need to be able to connect the handset to your PC. Laptop users can usually use the IR port. But if you don’t have an IR port finding a data cable for your phone can be hard. Qualcomm has licensed USB On-The-Go to help solve this problem. Compatible handsets will be able to use a USB cable instead of a proprietary model to connect to PCs, cameras and printers.
