How To Think With Your Gut

from the forget-the-numbers dept

Thomas Stewart is getting set to leave Business 2.0 and will be running the Harvard Business Review, instead (which should only improve the already high quality of HBR). One of (what I’m assuming is) his last articles for Business 2.0 is a fascinating discussion of how to trust your gut instincts. It discusses a number of business successes that came from gut instincts instead of market research, and also looks at the research suggesting people instinctively can respond to situations before their brain can understand why. However, it helps to practice instinctual thinking, and understand which situations it works best in. A very interesting read.
