Sell Your Life On eBay, Write A Book

from the so-that's-art? dept

Two years ago we wrote about a guy who had decided to sell everything he owned on eBay as a sort of “modern art project”. It appears that the end result of that art project is a book called All My Life for Sale where he talks about all the items he sold, as well as the deeper meanings behind ditching all your things. He also went and visited with various people who bought his stuff and talked about the relationships he built with people who bought things from him. The review of the book makes it seem a lot more meaningful than I think it really was. This guy sold a bunch of stuff he owned. I’m not sure that’s such a life-changing experience.
