Spam Company Loses Lawsuit Against Anti-Spammer

from the phew dept

Back in May, we had the story of a particularly crazy spamming company that sued an anti-spammer who they believed had them listed on a blackhole list. Luckily, it seems the court has ruled against the spamming company by dismissing the lawsuit. Of course, the details of the case seem to revolve around the fact there is no proof whatsoever that the accused anti-spammer ever actually did anything. It has nothing to do with the legality of reporting a spammer to a blackhole list operator.
