Politicians Discovery Technology Can Help Them Campaign
from the scary-thoughts dept
I don’t think this article was supposed to be amusing, but it is somewhat funny to read the various political campaign officials positively gushing over how they use technology to help them campaign. They make it sound as if they practically invented the Blackberry themselves, and that no one (prior to themselves) ever realized how positively useful it is to be able to email each other on the go. They’ve also finally realized that websites are more useful at preaching to the converted, rather than trying to sway voters over to their side. It seems that, for the most part, they use technology to solve logistical problems in getting various campaign supporters mobilized.
