Bluetooth May Leave PDAs And Phones Wide Open
According to this report from the RSA 2002 conference, current implementations of Bluetooth on PDAs and mobile phones are a security nightmare. Many have the basic security systems turned off as default, allowing anyone nearby to access the PDA or even make a phone call on your phone without you realizing it. They’re even calling this “warphoning” to pick up on the popular “warwhatevering” fad that seems to be going around these days.
