VC Pioneers Talk About How It Was In The Old Days

from the different dept

It seems the Computer History Museum in Mountain View put together a very interesting panel of old time venture capitalists who talked about how it was “in the old days”. Apparently, the lessons they were sharing didn’t necessarily apply to the young VCs of today, because a bunch of them left before the discussion was over. The biggest difference, it seems, is that the VC world used to be a lot less competitive. However, they say that they still funded people they knew – which apparently hasn’t changed at all.
