Broadband Disconnect

from the can't-get-on dept

My own powers of driving residential broadband providers into the grave are well documented. However, the Washington Post is looking at who’s to blame for making it so difficult for small businesses to get broadband. It appears that no one really agrees what the problem is. Some say it’s just the market at work. Some say companies need to be better educated. Others say that the incumbent telecom companies are holding back to protect their T1 and other businesses. And then, of course, there are those who blame the government. Basically, it’s a big mess and it’s not likely to get sorted out any time soon.
