MobilcCom Freezes 3G Network Rollout
Looks like MobileCom could be the first 3G casualty. The German MVNO and 3G license holder is cutting staff and putting a hold on its 3G plans. The move follows a last minute loan brokered by the German government after principal benefactor France Telecom cut off funding. The company is going to focus on its core MVNO business and try to return to profitablity by mid 2003.
