Flirting Goes Wireless

from the yet-another-sms-story dept

By now we’ve all read countless stories about how popular text messaging is in Europe and that it’s catching on in the US. This article at CNN focuses on using SMS to flirt. Yeah, yeah, you can be more uninhibited like in email and IM. But what really caught my attention was the idea of virtual SMS dating services “that allow cell phone users to exchange text messages with an imaginary love interest.” That just can’t be healthy.
