More Spam Tools On The Way

from the pile-'em-up-high dept

Thankfully, it seems that a whole slew of new spam blocking tools are making their way to market. I know it seems like I’m reading about a new tool every week or so. Clearly people are getting fed up, and plenty of companies are trying to jump in and fill that void with a product. I’m still interested to see what spam-stopping methodology wins out in the long run. People keep trying to convince me that whitelists/permission required systems are going to be the only really workable long term solution, but I’m not convinced – since those tend to put too much of the burden on people who are trying to legitimately email you.
