Many Surf Net And TV Simultaneously

from the it's-all-about-the-multitasking dept

A new study shows that nearly half of all households that have a TV and computer in the same room “frequently” use both at the same time. Only five percent say they never use both at the same time. I know I do often enough, which explains why I want the mirror that lets you watch a TV even if it sits behind you while you’re at your computer. Of course, slightly less than half of people surveyed have both devices in a room together. However, one of the more interesting (though, really not that surprising) findings is that when people are doing both at the same time, their surfing habits usually have little to do with what they’re watching on TV (so much for those “crossover” shows that tried to get peopel to go to the web).
