Another Universal Computing Environment

from the seems-popular dept

Having just spoken about various projects to make sure computers in the future can read any type of file, here comes the announcement of yet another universal computer system called Weaves that claims it can run any type of computer program and recognize any file. I’m not sure I fully understand what the system does from the article, but it says it supports both simulation and emulation, and (more interestingly) can allow for mistakes by remembering all the steps it takes, so you can backtrack to where the “mistake” occurred.
