AOL Board Fight Over Steve Case's Future

from the out-with-AOL dept

According to this report, there’s currently a struggle going on within AOL-Time Warner’s board to oust Steve Case from the chairman position. Honestly, this seems a little silly. It certainly fits with the article we posted earlier about institutional investors putting too much emphasis on tossing out top executives in order to show they have some control. If Case goes, then he’ll be the last of the major AOL execs to leave the company. Wasn’t it AOL that bought Time Warner? It seems to be working out the other way.
