Vodafone Weighs Chances of French Buy
Vodafone CEO predicts that there is a 50/50 chance that their bid on French carrier SFR will go through. Gent feels the ball is in SFR’s majority stake holder, Vivendi’s court. If Vivendi is as desperate for cash as Vodafone is for debt, the deal should work out perfectly.
