Making Call Underground
AT&T Wireless has just installed cellular antennae at BART stations in San Francisco. Other carriers are expected to follow eventually. But some are unhappy about the move because they would prefer to commute in peace. I think cell phones on the subway could make it louder than it already is, but using them at stations while waiting for the train would actually be pretty convenient.
