Big Businesses To Go Wireless
According to a new report by the Yankee Group, over half of large US businesses plan to deploy wireless solutions of some type over the next two years. Wi-Fi and wireless email will be the first to be deployed. But as wireless speed, coverage and security improve they believe that wireless will be a leading channel for marketing, commerce and customer care applications. We saw a similar uptake with the internet. Messaging was the application that drew most people online. Now you need a web site just to make your business look legitimate (especially if it’s not).
