Technology Past Its Prime

Forbes is running a slide show about technology that may be past its prime. They look at sales trends of various consumer electronics products to suggest how quickly they’re being replaced by newer technologies (often not that quickly). Most of the trends seem fairly obvious (DVDs replacing VCRs, MP3 players replacing portable CD players, digital recorders replacing cassette recorders, broadband replacing dialup, etc…).
