New Zealand Online Electoral Roll Prank Changes Name To Fat Ass

from the doesn't-seem-that-nice dept

Apparently, the New Zealand electoral roll makes it easy for anyone to log in online and change information. A woman is complaining that she received a letter in the mail asking her to confirm that she had changed her middle name from Fay to Fat Ass after some pranksters did just that. The folks who run the online system don’t see any problem with it, because they say that no changes are made until they get a written confirmation. So, instead, they’ll now have to deal with more and more people committing such pranks.
