Intel-Hamidi Case Goes Back To Court

from the the-never-ending-saga dept

We’ve spoken about the Ken Hamidi vs. Intel case a number of times before over the years, and now it’s going back to court yet again. This time, the ACLU and the EFF have written briefs defending Hamidi. While I usually agree with the EFF on most of the cases they support, this one I’m not so sure about. Hamidi clearly spammed employees at Intel. As a company, they have every right to ask him not to send them email again. The fact that he continued to send them email which was disruptive after they asked him to stop is problematic. The real question, I guess, is whether or not that qualifies as trespassing.
