Verizon's Wireless Data Promotion
In anticipation of SprintPCS’s CDMA1x launch later this month, Verizon Wireless is offering customers one month of free service when they sign up for a 1 or 2 year contract for unlimited wireless data at $99/month. That doesn’t really seem like much of a deal. Certainly not enough to make me go out and sign up before the SprintPCS launch. But it is interesting to see Verizon running promotions right before the Sprint launch. They must be just a little worried.
