The biggest market for removable flash memory cards today is digital cameras. With only about 15% of US households owning digital cameras, this market will continues to drive demand. But watch for mobile phones to increase demand. With phones acquiring new PIM functionality, melding with PDAs, and supporting picture messaging, removable memory will become a requirement for upcoming wireless devices.
