Competitors Samsung, Ericsson and Motorola placed 34, 71 and 74 respectively. You can see the results of Nokia’s branding in its popularity with smugglers. EU officials reports that Nokia phones make up 52% of counterfeit electronics smuggled into the trading block. That’s five times the amount of fake Ericsson, Siemens and Motorola products.
