IBM Helps Palm In the Enterprise

IBM and Palm have signed a co-marketing agreement that should help Palm get some traction in the enterprise space. While IBM already supports MS PocketPC devices, it does not have a similar co-marketing agreement with MS or a PocketPC hardware vendor. This is win for Palm, but customers might still ask IBM for PocketPC based solutions given more powereful hardware and stronger Exchange intergration. Despite having a better PDA interface, the Palm OS is showing its age. This deal may not have much impact until the next generation of Palm OS devices and software.
