Virgin Goes National

Last month Virgin Mobile USA launched in two test markets. This week they are taking their teen-oriented prepaid service national. It’s a tough time market to roll out a new wireless service, even one specifically targeted to the under served teen wireless market. While Virgin was scouting for a network partner, AT&T and Verizon launched prepaid services going after the same market as Virgin. Now that Virgin is in the game, we can see how much their savvy marketing can buy them.
