There is always something interesting happening in the UK with text messaging. They seem to be obessed with it. The latest experiment involves a hospital sending out SMS reminders to patients about their appointments. Great idea, you don’t want people forgeting about their triple bypasses brought on by information overload. Wonder why they chose SMS over an automated phone call? Receiving a voice call for this type of thing seems more natural.
