Big Bluetooth Users
What do DaimlerChrysler and Fedex have in common? Bluetooth that’s what. DaimlerChrysler is going to offer a BT car kit this fall as a dealer installed option. Fedex is developing a custom PDA for couriers that will incorporate BT to hook into public wireless networks. It’s too early to say that these deals validate BT. But they show the many ways that BT can be deployed and that companies are interested in the technology. Now we’ll have to see if consumers take the bait.
