Student In Court For Changing Grades

A student at the University of Delaware is being charged with breaking into the University’s computer system in order to change her grades. Of course, this appears to be more of a case of social engineering, than straight out hacking – as she simply called up someone in human resources and pretended to be a faculty member who had misplaced her password. She then logged on to the system and changed a bunch of Fs into As, and one incomplete into a passing grade.
