Virtual Mom Reminds You To Clean Your Room
from the oh-goodness dept
Throughout high school my mother refused to enter my bedroom, because the level of clutter would make her very upset. Over the years, I’ve gotten much better at keeping things relatively clean, but there’s still a “tipping point” problem. I tend to keep my living space clean for extended periods of time. However, after a certain period of time, I’ll get very busy and a few extra things will start to pile up… and once it starts, I’m a lost cause. In fact, this past week, I’ve been spending a lot of time “de-cluttering” my house. Last night’s big project was my desk, which now (amazingly) has some clear desktop space, just calling out for new clutter. That said, I think the timing of this next article was perfect for me. Apparently, there’s some woman who got so fed up with her own clutter that she devised a number of daily methods to help people keep a neat house. It’s turned into something of a virtual revolution, where she’ll nag people by email multiple times every day to remind them to tidy up. Seems a bit extreme for me, but my mother would probably approve.
